Before there was an Indian denim industry, there was only access. Jeans arrived through narrow doors — diplomatic luggage, returning travellers, ports, and tailors willing to copy what they saw.

The Indian denim market changes permanently — global brands can now arrive directly, not just through suitcases and side doors.
